In a recent communication to its valued customers, Bittrex Global has regretfully announced its decision to wind down operations. Effective December 4, 2023, all trading activities on the platform will be disabled, signaling the commencement of the winding-down process.

Despite this difficult decision, Bittrex Global assures its users that their funds and tokens remain secure on the platform and can be withdrawn at any time, adhering to applicable laws and the platform’s Terms of Service.

The official notification, sent to customers on November 19, 2023, emphasized that no action is required from users who have no funds remaining on the platform. However, those with assets are strongly encouraged to log into their accounts and initiate withdrawals promptly.

Expressing gratitude for the support and trust of its community, Bittrex Global pledges to facilitate a transparent and smooth wind-down process. Additionally, the company will continue providing updates and information through official communication channels, cautioning users to remain vigilant against potential scammers who might exploit this situation.

Customers with any queries or concerns have been urged to reach out to the Bittrex Global support team for assistance during this transition.

This decision marks the closure of Bittrex Global, which operates cryptocurrency exchanges in Liechtenstein and Bermuda, citing market volatility and other challenges in the digital asset space.

The announcement serves as a reminder of the risks involved in trading tokens and utilizing similar services, cautioning users against potential financial losses and advising them to make timely withdrawals of their assets from the platform.

Bittrex Global GmbH is registered with the Financial Market Authority under Law of 3 October 2019 on Tokens and TT Service Providers (TVTG) in Liechtenstein to operate as a TT Exchange Service Provider, TT Token Depositary and Token Issuer on behalf and for the account of third parties. Bittrex Global (Bermuda) Limited is regulated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority and licensed as a Class F Digital Asset Business under the Bermuda Digital Asset Business Act 2018 to operate as a digital asset exchange, provide custodial wallet services and operate as a digital asset derivative exchange provider.
